Petros Floros has spent three and a half decades working on homes throughout Medford, from the Victorians near Tufts University to the condos along the Mystic River. That experience means fewer surprises and faster fixes, whether it's a hot water heater replacement or a stubborn clogged drain.
Residents choose Floros because the business is built on a straightforward promise: show up, do the job right, and charge a fair price.
Floros Plumbing & Heating covers the full range of residential plumbing services Medford homeowners need, from routine maintenance to middle of the night emergencies. Below are the core services available throughout the city, including Medford Square, West Medford, Wellington, and the neighborhoods closer to the Malden line.
When a hot water heater fails, Medford families need a fix that doesn't wait. We offer same day water heater replacement and emergency water heater replacement, with options tailored to your household's hot water demand.
Not every water heater problem calls for a full replacement. Our technicians diagnose and resolve water heater leaks, pilot light issues, and inconsistent hot water with honest, straightforward repair work.
Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, and sudden leaks don't keep business hours, so our emergency plumber doesn't either. We offer true 24 hour emergency plumbing services across Medford, with same day response whenever possible.
Many older Medford homes near the Mystic River still rely on boilers and baseboard heating, and we know these systems well. From boiler repair and boiler maintenance to radiator repair and hydronic heating repair, we keep your home warm through every New England winter.
From a dripping faucet to a toilet that won't stop running, our plumbing repair and maintenance service keeps small issues from becoming expensive ones. We handle pipe repair, faucet repair, toilet repair, and sink repair throughout Medford.
Slow or clogged drains are one of the most common calls we get from Medford homeowners. We handle drain clearing and drain cleaning for kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks, showers, and toilets, including sink drain clearing, shower drain clearing, and toilet unclogging.
Medford's housing stock runs the gamut, and that variety shapes the plumbing work we see every week. The older homes around Medford Square and South Medford often still have original galvanized pipe that needs attention, while the multi-family buildings near Tufts University put extra strain on drains and water heaters during the school year. From the triple-deckers near Medford Square to the newer builds off Mystic Valley Parkway, a burst pipe or failed water heater never waits for a convenient time.
Closer to the Mystic River and Wellington, many homeowners deal with older boiler systems and baseboard heating that need regular maintenance to run efficiently. We also see plenty of calls from the Fulton Heights and Hillside neighborhoods, where mature trees and older sewer lines sometimes mean root intrusion is behind a stubborn clogged drain.
Whatever part of Medford you call home, Floros Plumbing & Heating has likely already worked on a house just like yours.
Homeowners in Medford have plenty of plumbing companies to choose from, but Petros Floros built this business on personal attention and fair pricing. Here's what that looks like in practice.
Petros Floros personally answers every call and handles the work himself. There's no dispatcher juggling technicians or passing you between departments, just one experienced professional who stands behind his work.
A failed water heater or a backed up drain doesn't fit neatly into next week's schedule. Floros offers same day water heater replacement and prompt response for plumbing repair, so Medford households aren't left waiting.
Floros stands behind the Plumbers Code of Ethics, with pricing that reflects the mission of comfort at a price you can afford. Every job comes with a straightforward quote and a guarantee that you'll be satisfied with the result.
Some plumbing problems can wait for a scheduled appointment, and some can't. Knowing the difference can save you from serious water damage or a cold house in the middle of a Massachusetts winter.
If you notice any of these signs, call before the problem grows. Our emergency plumbing repair line is staffed every day of the week.
Whether it's a leaking pipe near Medford Square or a boiler that won't heat your West Medford home, Floros Plumbing & Heating is ready to help. Call now and speak directly with Petros, the person who will actually show up to do the work.
